Arm Pain Relief, Elbow Pain relief, Leg Pain Relief

Arm pain, elbow pain, leg pain and knee pain many times have direct connection to the spine and alignment. For example, if the low back is not in proper alignment then it will effect the alignment and movement of the hips, legs, knees, ankles.  If the Neck and upperback is out of alignment or stiff in certain areas then it will effect the shoulders  and arms. Your arms and legs are also susceptible to a variety of injuries and pain due to muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments and joints that make up the structures of our arms and legs.  Over the life of our body we have many major and minor traumas like poor posture in sitting and sleeping, sports injuries, car or bike accidents and much more.  Pain in your arms and legs can also be a signal for problems in other areas of your body. If you are experiencing consistent or sharp pain in any area of your arms or legs, it should be examined by a physician. Dr. Jeremy Weisz and his team at ChiroPractical Solutions have treated a wide variety of arm pain, elbow pain, and leg pain . Dr. Weisz identifies the source of pain and implements a treatment program using chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy and massage treatments.

Arm Pain

Arm pain is a symptom of numerous conditions. Arm pain could be the result of a muscle sprain, a broken bone, a pinched nerve, tendonitis or angina, just to name a few. Whatever the cause, arm pain can be uncomfortable and debilitating. Our thorough examinations will correctly diagnose the source of your pain.

Elbow Pain

Elbow pain is a by-product of a wide variety of injuries. Your elbow is a very complex joint that allows you to move your arm in nearly all directions. It is also an area of your arm where a many bones, tendons, ligaments, nerves and veins interact. Three long bones meet at the elbow. Major muscle groups originate or terminate at the elbow including your biceps and triceps. Tendons and ligaments are attached to the elbow and nerves and veins travel through the elbow. Common elbow problems include the following:

Tennis Elbow:   Pain on the outside of the elbow.

Golfers Elbow: Pain on the inside of the elbow.

Student Elbow: Painful swelling on the back of the elbow.

Tendonitis: Pain caused by inflammation of the tendons.

Arthritis:  Pain caused by inflammation of a joint.

Pinched Nerve:  The main nerve in the elbow is called the ulnar nerve. It’s located in the soft spot within a groove of the elbow. If this nerve is pinched, it’s hard to get your arm to move the way you want it to and you will feel pain down the arm through the hand and into your fingers.  There are many nerves that run through the elbow that can become pinched and lead to different types of pain throughout your entire arm and hand.

Dr. Jeremy Weisz has seen many types and varieties of elbow pain, arm pain and neck pain. He can help uncover the root cause of the pain. Then, he can implement the correct treatment program to address your elbow pain or refer you to a practitioner who can. This saves you time and money!

Leg Pain

Leg pain can affect your ability to walk as well as your balance or stability. Just like your arm, your legs contain major muscles, bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, nerves and veins that all can become injured or strained with various major or minor traumas which lead to pain. Leg cramping is a very common and painful condition. Typical causes of leg cramps are dehydration, nutrition deficiencies and excessive use but many other things can cause leg cramping including prescription medications. Many people try to tolerate leg pain and live with it. However, there is a reason for the pain or the cramps. Any pain is not normal and a signal something is going on that needs to be checked. At Chiropractical Solutions in Chicago, we’ll determine what’s causing the pain.

Sciatica

Nerves of right leg, anterior and posterior as...

Sciatica describes the pain that usually originates in your lower back and extends through your buttocks and down the large sciatic nerve in the back of your legs all the way down to your feet.  Sciatica is commonly mistaken as a condition when, in fact, it’s a symptom signaling a problem involving the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in your body, so there could be any number of reasons why you are feeling pain. Sciatica is not only characterized by pain but also numbness, tingling and weakness. All of these symptoms greatly impact your ability to sit, stand, walk and function. Sciatica is most common in adults between the ages of 30 and 60 and is a condition that typically develops over a period of time as opposed to being attributed to a single event like an accident. If you are experiencing any leg pains or pain in the buttock or low back then you need to get evaluated as soon as possible. If you are experiencing the effects of sciatica, we can help and see what the source of the pain could be.
